Yosemite National Park

About the Park

Due to the location of this park, all visitors are required to take a free National Park Service shuttle from the town of Danville to tour the historic home and grounds. Visitors are not permitted to drive their personal/private vehicles to the site. Park is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Every other day except for Saturday, you must make reservations for a guided tour, Saturday is the only day that the tour is not guided, it is a self-guided tour, but reservations is still required. The House is only closed for 3 holidays which are Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s. Eugene O’Neill Site was built and used by O’Neill and his wife from 1937 to 1944, O’Neill is an award winning Nobel Prize winner. The house was labeled as a historic landmark in 1971.
